SonarKids stirs up interest in music and the arts of our time for the kids of today.

Laurent Garnier, Griffi and M’Baka featuring Mala Rodríguez, Jordi Labanda, Puppetmastaz, Miqui Puig and Beardyman headline the all new festival of music and creative experiences conceived by Sónar to inspire creativity and participation for all the family.

Sónar has created a festival that follows the philosophy of its older brother, with a musical line-up packed with top level artists, including Laurent Garnier, Griffi and M’Baka featuring Mala Rodríguez, Puppetmastaz, Miqui Puig and Beardyman, who will be giving special performances adapted to a day as unusual as this one.

As well as performances, SonarKids is full of activities related to music and art and designed for the younger members of the household: dj and beatboxing classes, a hip-hop dance masterclass, modern portraits by Jordi Labanda, workshop on illustration, building with LEGO, felt dolls and objects, fingerskate,... And let's not forget the robotic instruments and the installations in Mecanics, the exhibition presented this year in SonarMàtica. Boredom is impossible.

A day with all facilities and fun for all the family

Sónar has taken its audience into account, and will be using a sound system suitable for children's hearing, as well as installing a range of facilities (play area, picnic area, bar,...) so that both parents and children can relax and enjoy the SonarKids experience in full comfort.

Sonarkids takes place in Barcelona for the first time on Sunday 21st June at Sónar by Day locations (Plaça Joan Coromines and Plaça dels Àngels) from 10:30am until 8pm.
