For this years concert at L’Auditori, Sonar presents a special collaboration between instrumental group BCN216 and Norwegian artist Lars Horntveth, composer and frontman of the acclaimed experimental jazz combo Jaga Jazzist (Smalltown Supersound), who makes his appearance at the festival after the magnificent reception of his brilliant "Kaleidoscopic", a monolithic post-rock, jazzy style exercise with infinite layers and interpretations, full of sub-rhythms, pleasant melodies and sound registers. In total there will be 13 musicians on stage, eight Catalan and five Norwegian, combining strings and classical instrumentation from the Barcelona band, with the wind instruments, synthesizors and xylophones of the band from Norway. A high voltage musical encounter.
