It might have been a sign when a five-year old Carlo Alberto broke the violin his grandfather gave him, trying to play it like a guitar. But 16 years later, Cécile has paid his dues, having studied piano at the Santa Cecilia music school in Portoguaro. He takes out any lingering violin-inspired aggression by banging out songs like "There Is No Justice" or remixing punk band Altro with the help of a Fender Stratocaster guitar, drum kit and laptop. Cécile's not just about electro-punk aesthetics though, and creates a softer, more melancholic palette via his Satie-inspired Color A project.
